Urban Plagne returns to La Plagne

Urban Plagne is making its much awaited return to the French alpine resort of La Plagne for its 7th year. 

Taking place over three action packed days between the 17th and 19th August 2011, the Urban Plagne festival is set to be bigger and better than ever before!

It is the ultimate sports and music event and guarantees something for everyone with activities and entertainment for people of all ages.  And what’s more it’s all absolutely free!  You can enjoy a range of sports, demos from pros and a mix of live music and entertainment.  This festival truly has it all.

 
 

Urban Park in the French Alps

 
At the heart of the event is the Urban Park set amongst the background of the stunning French Alps.  The Urban Park is at an altitude of 2,000 metres and gives you the chance to try out sports whilst admiring the breathtaking views.  It is a benchmark in its field and is unique due to its location.  Whether you’re a beginner or a pro you can try out all the sports and equipment for free.  It is made up of a total of more than 20 different obstacles including a 17 metre long skateboard ramp – perfect for roller blading, BMX, skate, trial bike and more!
