New kit we like: Mammut Lahar Down EMT

Camp, Camping, Gear, News — By Outdoor Adventure Guide on April 19, 2014 at 11:08 pm

Anyone planning on a trek before the summer season gets underway needs a sleeping bag like the Mammut Lahar Down EMT Spring.

It’s packed with 650 fill duck down, providing excellent levels of warmth on chilly spring evenings with an extreme comfort rating of -12 degrees, yet won’t bulk out your backpack (it weighs in an un-daunting 850g and packs into a small stuff sack).

It’s built to last, with an H-box construction that keeps down in place and ensures uniform insulation.

The ergonomic design at the foot of the bag means your toes will be happy too, while the Performance hood keeps your bonce warm while maintaining a full field of vision. You know, so you can creep out your tent-mate by staring at them in the middle of the night…
