Shewee Waste Management Company of 2012

Here at OAG we’ve been big fans of the Shewee since the beginning, which is why we we’re thrilled to read that the manufacturers have been rewarded with the much coveted accolade of Waste Management Company of the Year 2012 for their ingenious Shewee-inal.

Combined with the equally wonderful Shewee, the Shewee-inal allows ladies to join gents and urinate standing up without any awkward de-clothing or squatting. They’ve been doing the rounds at the likes of Glastonbury and the London Marathon and can also be tested at Latitude and WOMAD later this year.

The Shewee-inal won the award for its environmentally minded facilities which not only reduce water, toilet paper and chemical consumption, are also cleaner four-times more faster than those much dreaded portable WCs

Of course, the Shewee itself can be used wherever nature happens to call – great to store in your rucksack for your hikes, camping trips or even long car journeys. We might even put in our must-have outdoor survival kit!

Oh and, fact of the day (year?): One Shewee is sold every three minutes…
