Triathlete team make new world record
News — By OAGmag on June 22, 2011 at 10:14 pmUSN ambassadors Thomas Reader, Stu Baker, Edmund Salt, Robert Baird, Luke Swain and Dave Grigg have been celebrating after becoming the new world record holders of the gruelling Enduroman Arch to Arc Triathlon beating the previous record by an impressive 1 hour and 22 minutes.
The most challenging triathlon in the world
The Enduroman Arch to Arc consists of an 87 mile run from London to Dover, a swim across the English Channel and finally a 181 mile ride from Calais to Paris crossing the finish line at the Arc de Triomphe.
Team Urban Fitness GB became the new world record holders on June 10 after completing the challenge in a time of 35 hours and 53 minutes.
